Description
Rockstar GLOSS SLATE SEAL is a clear, UV stable, solvent-based acrylic sealer. This high-solids formulation is designed to apply a durable, sacrificial coating to the surface, leaving a luxurious, glossy "wet look" finish. It is suitable for commercial and domestic applications, both indoors and outdoors.
USES
GLOSS SLATE SEAL is a durable surface sealer that protects Slate, Concrete, unglazed Terracotta, and Paving Bricks from oil and grease stains. Its ability to withstand UV light makes it an ideal choice for exterior areas where a high-gloss, enhanced finish is desired.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Ensure the surface to be coated is clean, dry, and free of any oils and other surface contaminants.
- Apply an even coat of GLOSS SLATE SEAL using a brush or roller.
- The first coat can be diluted by 25% with Thinners to help provide a foundation for further coats.
- Allow the first coat to dry (1–3 hours depending on atmospheric conditions).
- Apply a second even coat. If required for extra gloss or protection, apply a third coat once the second coat is dry.
COVERAGE
Coverage is dependent on the porosity of the surface being coated and is typically in the range of 6–10 Mt² per Litre per coat.
CLEANING
Clean all application equipment with Xylene or a Solvent Based Stripper immediately after use.
PACKAGING
GLOSS SLATE SEAL is available in 1, 5, and 20 Litre Containers.
STORAGE
Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Keep away from sources of heat, spark, and ignition, as the product is flammable.
SAFETY
Classified as Hazardous. Avoid contact with skin and eyes by wearing suitable protective gloves and eyewear. Wear a Breathing Mask using solvent vapor filters during application. For further detailed information, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
